Tecmeca-Pacquet, a small dynamic concern based on the outskirts of Dunkerque has delivered a marine loading arm for unloading soft pitch for the Qatalum project in Qatar.
Qatalum, a joint subsidiary of state-owned Qatar Petroleum and Norwegian supplier Hydro is building what will become the largest aluminium electrolysis plant in the world, with a 580 000 ton capacity upon completion of the first phase. French engineers Solios Carbone, one of the main players in the project, choose the Pacquet Tecmeca's mobile marine loading arm solution to supply the site's anode manufacturing plant.
